SOLAR ENERGY
The Foundation is engaged in the research and development of solar heaters and solar electric panels in selected sites of the country. Together with a Filipino-owned solar-energy firm, the Foundation will launch its first Farmers’ Upliftment Thru Solar Energy (FUSE) Project in depressed areas, like the Ginsaugon, Southern Leyte.–which was the site of landslide that scored thousands of lives. The Foundation also plans to build its first solar-powered building in its Eco-Life Headquarters in Caloocan City. Together with Bishop Cantillas of Maasin, the Foundation is finalizing its plan to build an a solar-powered ECO-LIFE CENTER in Maasin City, Southern Leyte –a living and learning center that offers an inspiring solution to poverty eradication and environmental degradation.
